Some shots of John's new Harvard (his first ARTF - and just look at the box contents). Electric: 550W motor. Yes, it was the Harvard that came in the box, not John! His Xmas present, I think. I expect he's hoping for some big LiPos for his birthday. Flying shots are promised soon.
The Piper Cub is dressed at a WWII spotter plane. Electric, 60" span but weighs only 2.25 lbs. He's been building it for 10 years. so not quite "new". I guess the weight is without the original lead-acid battery! |
